Job Roles in the media Sector-Asking a professional

Another way in contacting professional-

Tel: +44(0)20 7316 1900

You can say-

"Hello
I'm a student from Fareham College, i was wondering if i could get a interview with Paige Toon. As i sincerely love her books and her career as a writer and a editor. I have interest in following a similar path as her, i was hoping if i could get a interview with her to ask her about her career as a editor in Heat magazine. Asking these few questions like
I was wondering how i would get the job and if it require any specific training for it, along if i get a contract What kind of contract will be getting? Also if i was to get paid how would i be paid, monthly or weekly?
I want to find out the way Paige Toon got the job and how it lead her to become a full time book writer.

Please contact in through this email Sedtin@hotmail.co.uk
Thank you
Bye"

In my opinion, phoning in is always a good way of contact. As you speak to them directly and you can ask away, as they would have no choice but to talk to you. Along you may find out more information than you hoped for, along you would be able to ask them more questions. While if you rely on them to reply to you through email, you would not know how long you would have to wait for them to reply or if they would reply. Though sometime they may put you on hold for a long period of time, if your asking for someone important or specific.
